Best friends since their days as roommates at Brown University, Nedenia Hutton Craig and Stephanie Brag always knew they would end up working together. They shared majors, fashion obsessions, and a driven, can-do attitude. Upon graduation, they learned the ropes and paid some dues. Nedenia always dreamt of launching her own collection and already knew that Stephanie was her perfect business partner. Nedenia worked tirelessly to convince Stephanie to leave her fantastic job in the Communications Department at (RED), the charity founded by Bono & Bobby Shriver to engage the private sector in the fight against AIDS in Africa, where she had risen through the ranks for four years.
Stephanie left (RED) in March to join Nedenia as Chief Operating Officer, bringing her dedication and industry knowledge to managing the DEE HUTTON universe. In April they started DEE HUTTON on Nedenia's living room floor, and by October, they had built the perfect team, unveiled their first collection, amassed a variety of clients and opened a beautiful showroom in Union Square.
Stephanie's the right brain of the operation, Nedenia's the left. The perfect odd couple without the bickering. And what's better than working with your best friend every day?
